As has been the case now for the past several years, organizers and friends of the Social Media Breakfast in Montreal have hosted an annual holiday cocktail party at KAI Design in downtown Montreal.

We’re super fortunate to have you all supporting what it is we do, and if nothing else we hope like us, you’ve made some good friends and maybe uncovered some new opportunities along the way.
2014 will mark our 5th year as part of the Social Media Breakfast family, and I’m proud to say that over the first four years and 20 some odd events, we’ve helped bring together a total of almost 1000 attendees (some repeats – thank you devoted SMB’ers!!) digital savvy (mostly) folks from all walks of business, who have eaten great food at La Bistrote, and had an opportunity to learn and share with some of Montreal’s best and most generous talents.
As a non-profit venture we rely deeply on help from those within our tight knit network, and more recently have been seeking out sponsors to help offset costs, but who also have a vested interest in understanding what the community at large is being faced with, and wants to know about all things Web. I’d prepared a quick video (ok..my videos are never quick..you’re right) thanking all those involved with the breakfast over the past year, and like I do in the video want to extend a very special thanks to Luis London, who several years ago along with Andrew Chen of KAI Design, when my interest in keeping the SMBMTL going was sputtering a little, blew some air under my giant condor wings and helped ensure we keep this going.
I’ve had a great time getting to know more of you over the past year, and want to also offer a special shout out to all the speakers who’ve given freely of their time to come and share with us their experiences and knowledge in the hopes that what little our guests were to take away had a positive impact on their businesses.
We’ve got some big things planned for 2014 starting with our first ever panel on Feb.12th. Stay tuned to the blog and our social media channels for more news on this.
Hope to see a lot of you on Dec.5th at the party!
